ABOUT ME
Hello there, I’m Mauricio Velazco!
Having graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York with a Bachelor’s in CG Art & Animation, and having taught myself a myriad of skills to be able to manage my own artist projects and endeavours- I’m always eager to jump on to the next exciting animated project I can find! I come from a fine-arts and Illustration background, and I try to incorporate what I’ve learned into my work as much as possible.
I've delved mostly into commercial projects requiring 3D Animation (MAYA) and Storyboarding, alongside personal projects requiring Illustration, 2D Animation, video editing and compositing (Adobe Suite), so my experiences ranges from Pre to Post Production!
My knowledge of both illustration and the CG field allows me to develop ideas through concept art, cement them through storyboarding/animatics, and further develop them in a 3D space!
